Transparent Spacer Clips 2 mm – Art. No. 12269

The transparent 2 mm spacer clip is the ideal solution for precise and uniform tile installation. In combination with the levelling system (Art. No. 11093), it guarantees perfect grout joints and an even surface, without any shifting.

Application:

1. Apply adhesive and lay the first tile
   Start by applying the adhesive bed and placing the first tile. Take a transparent spacer clip and insert it along the edge of the tile, ensuring the opening of the clip protrudes above the tile.
2. Lay the second tile
   Place the second tile so that the spacer clips are fixed between the tiles in the joint. Then, insert a levelling wedge into the clip and push it as far through as possible by hand, without applying too much pressure.
3. Fix the wedges
   Once the first row of tiles is laid, use a tile levelling tool to tighten the wedges. By securing the wedges within the clips, the adjacent tiles are levelled precisely. After tightening, the wedges cannot be adjusted further.
4. Let it dry and remove the clips
   Lay the entire area and allow the tile adhesive to dry completely. Afterwards, the spacer clips can be carefully broken off in the direction of the grout joint using your foot or a rubber mallet. The base of the clips remains invisible in the adhesive bed and is grouted over. The levelling wedges are reusable.
