Hammer and tile hammer

Der Hammer – das Werkzeug der Handwerkzeuge bei Karl Dahm

Hammers are important tools - pay attention to quality here too! Hammers are used in many trades and crafts. And the hammer is also considered to be the oldest tool in the history of mankind. The hammer has always been known in different versions. There are small hammers, large hammers, rubber hammers, iron hammers and many more. Even back then, the respective area of application varied depending on the size and weight of the individual hammers.

Hammers and tile hammers are useful tools because they offer a high level of functionality and ease of use that is guaranteed to impress you. Our hammers are ideal for work in the workshop, for installation work and also for working on tiles or natural stone slabs. There are, of course, special tile hammers for tiling and natural stone. These are somewhat finer than conventional hammers and ensure targeted and clean work with tiles and stone products.

Simplify your work by using our innovative tile hammers.

To make your work even easier and quicker, we also offer hammers for tiles that leave no discolouration or other marks on the workpieces. This saves you the time-consuming cleaning and polishing of the materials afterwards.

Rubber mallet with wooden handle and white rubber head

The rubber mallet is very durable and robust thanks to its white rubber head and wooden handle. It is ideal for craftsmen, installation work and for working on tiles, sheet metal and natural stone slabs. We now also recommend this simple tile hammer for use in conjunction with our levelling system. The levelling system from Karl Dahm. Just give it a try, because this hammer is particularly suitable for knocking off the threaded lugs of the installation system after the tile adhesive has hardened. This makes this work step much easier and, above all, quicker. In addition, this hammer leaves neither scratches nor discolouration. The rubber mallet also leaves no other marks on the workpieces. Protective residues are a major problem when using many hammers.

Tile hammer design

The tile hammer design has been honoured with the IF Design Award 2010. It not only impresses with its design, but also with its outstanding quality and functionality. A top seller at Karl Dahm and a firm favourite with all customers. But a tile hammer like this also belongs in every tiler's toolbox. Why not see the ergonomic design and high functionality of this tile hammer for yourself? The handle is also ergonomically shaped.

Tile hammer - Carbide

Our tile hammer is made of high-quality carbide and the tile hammer handle is made of wood. Our tile hammer is therefore ideal for knocking pre-scored tiles out and down! With a little skill, you can easily knock off the pre-scored tile with a single blow. The tile is scored with a conventional oil cutter. Another method of breaking the tile at the scored point is to use a handy tile hammer to break the tile directly by lightly tapping it. Another application is the so-called breaking of sharp tile edges. This means that you can also use it to lightly tap off frayed tiles so that there are no protrusions. In very few cases do all wall or floor tiles fit directly onto the substrate without having to be cut and adjusted. Simplify your work! It's up to you. Score the tiles and then break them. If there is no clean break, simply knock off the frayed tile edges. This hammer for tiles is also available in solid metal. These tile hammers are particularly durable and stable thanks to the metal handle.

These different types of hammer differ mainly in the shape of the handle and, in particular, the shape of the head. Depending on the work that needs to be done, a flat or pointed head shape is required. The head can be made of rubber, carbide or steel.
