Application:
In addition to the use of the cross-threaded Tile spacers, we recommend the use of the basic threaded brackets of the Levelmac levelling system.
Especially for large formats, the basic threaded brackets on the long side of the tile should be used in addition to the levelling system. The Tile spacers can be used like normal joint crosses, with the advantage that a pulling hood can be screwed onto the thread to level the tiles.
- place the first tile in the tile adhesive and insert the cross-threaded tile spacers on the tile cross under the tile and insert the basic threaded tabs on the side of the tile (2 - 3 basic tabs depending on the format)
- place the next tile on the first tile so that the threaded tabs are fixed in the joint - now you can already screw pulling hoods onto the base tabs (do not tighten them completely yet)
- as soon as the next tiles are lying and the cross-threaded tongue is completely surrounded by tiles, a pulling hood can also be attached to the cross-threaded spacer. Now you can also tighten all other pulling hoods nearby and level the tiles in this way.
- allow the tile adhesive to dry completely, then remove the pulling hoods from the threaded lugs and break off the threads in the direction of the joint. The pulling hoods are reusable.
- grout your floor as usual
