Seems familiar? The terrace, kitchen or bathroom has been newly tiled, but unfortunately the joints have become uneven and crooked. Even the slightest touch can cause the freshly laid tiles to slip. With the joint crosses / tile wedges, this can no longer happen to you. Tile crosses and tile wedges are different names for the same auxiliary tool. Tile wedges and tile crosses are usually made of plastic or wood.
Tile wedges and tile crosses allow you to create uniform joint widths and prevent the tiles from slipping. This allows you to lay tiles vertically and horizontally without "skewing".
If you want to achieve a beautiful and evenly tiled surface, you should not do without the helpful joint crosses or tile wedges when laying tiles. They make your work easier and save you valuable time!

The joint crosses are particularly suitable for wall and floor tiles. Accurate tile laying is no longer a problem with Karl Dahm's joint crosses. They are important little helpers when laying tiles. With the joint crosses, you always achieve the desired equal distance between the joint widths of wall and floor tiles. The joint width therefore always has the same thickness and the tiles can no longer slip once they have been pressed into place. The grouting crosses do not need to be removed for grouting.
As in most cases the tiles have straight edges, care must be taken during installation to ensure that the tiles are laid parallel to each other. This is also noticeable when grouting. Grouting crosses and tile wedges are then used to ensure straight edges.
To find the right grouting crosses, you should know how large the distance between the tiles should be. Grout spacers are available in different thicknesses and sizes. As a general rule, you should use larger, more manageable grouting crosses for larger tiles and smaller crosses for smaller tiles. Anyone who has ever laid tiles or floor slabs knows the problem of the correct distance to the next tile or floor slab. To prevent this problem from occurring in the first place, use Karl Dahm joint crosses and insert them between the tiles in the joints.
Due to the straight square shape of the tiles, it is particularly important that the tiles are aligned straight and the joints are the same width to create a beautiful tile pattern.
The first tile must lie exactly straight when laying. The tile crosses are then placed in all free tile corners and the next tile can then be placed on top. When laying the tiles or slabs, the crosses are placed between the tiles in the joints. This must be done until all the tiles have been laid. Grouting can then begin. This creates even and uniform joints. The tiles can then no longer slip even after they have been pressed into place. The tiles can otherwise slip very easily, especially if the substrate is very smooth.
