The advantages of a thinner sponge layer

In contrast to conventional sponge boards with a thickness of 2.5 cm, this hydro sponge pad has a thickness of only 2 cm. This makes it possible to wash tiled floors more gently, whereby the joints in particular are protected from being washed out. The replacement sponge layer can be easily applied to the sponge board with our sponge board adhesive.

Due to the lower thickness, the sponge can be squeezed out particularly cleanly, e.g. with the squeegee device on the KARL DAHM tile washing sets. In this way, it immediately regains its original absorbency and cleaning power.
