The world novelty! Exclusively from KARL DAHM. The self-adhesive plinth tape is a tape to be applied to the wall, which can bridge the vertical movements of the floor covering. It compresses movements of up to 15 mm, thus relieving the movement joint between the skirting tile and the wall.
When constructing with floating screeds, as is almost invariably built in Germany, there is a lowering of the floor construction due to the building material. In this way, the movement joint between the floor and the wall is overloaded and cracks appear between the floor and the wall, which means that the joint must be renewed regularly.
The skirting tape is applied with the self-adhesive side facing the wall. After application of the base, e.g. by tile adhesive, the remaining protruding tape is cut off at the top.
