Tile laying systems are developed to facilitate the laying of large-format tiles - because for aesthetic reasons, joint distances are becoming smaller and smaller, tiles are becoming larger and larger. Karl Dahm offers you a qualitative laying aid - the wedge system.

This wedge system with its 1 mm tabs is perfectly suited for tiles with a thickness of 0 - 12 mm and can be used for tiling walls and floors! At Karl Dahm we also have the wedge system in other versions, see art. 15092 and 15093.

The wedge system 'Step by Step'

1. Apply the tile adhesive, provided you have a level, dry and sufficiently prepared screed floor.
2. Start laying the first tile.
3. Push the 1 mm tabs into the joint and lay the next tile. Repeat the process until you have finished laying the desired area.
4. Now take a wedge and push it through the tab until the two tiles are on the same level.
5. Use the pliers to push the wedge further into the tab to perfect the level.
6. The tabs and wedges from the wedge system remain in the tiles until the tile adhesive is completely dry.
7. Finally, remove the wedges (reusable!) from the tabs; kick them off at the predetermined breaking point.

And thanks to the Karl Dahm wedge system, you have an evenly laid surface!

To ensure that the joint spacing does not change, we recommend our joint crosses Art. 10 730 to 10 735.
