Protect sensitive tile surfaces from discoloration with the new Basis set leveling system transparent.
The transparent pulling hoods can be used in the same way as the conventional, black pulling hoods from Karl Dahm. They are made of a transparent plastic that leaves no residue on the tile surface.
Exact grout lines - without overhangs or height offsets!
Application of the basic set leveling system transparent:
Step: Apply the adhesive bed as usual, for large format tiles the buttering-floating method is recommended. The first tile can already be inserted.
Step: Now, depending on the size of the tile, place one to three threaded tabs along the tile edge.
Step: Then place the next tile against the first tile so that the threaded tabs are fixed in the joint between the tiles.
Step: Loosely screw the pulling hoods onto the threaded tabs. After all the tension hoods in the immediate vicinity have also been screwed on, the tension hoods can be tightened.
Step: Repeat the process until the entire surface has been laid. As long as the adhesive bed is still wet, the pulling hoods can be tightened at any time; do not walk on the tiles during this time.
Step: Allow the adhesive bed to cure completely. Then twist off the reusable pull hoods and break off or step off the threaded tabs at the predetermined breaking point.
The prerequisite for the success of a perfect tile floor with the Basis Set leveling system transparent is a completely level substrate. As already mentioned, the use of the buttering-floating method is advantageous here, as the risk of hollow layers is significantly reduced and the adhesion between tile and substrate is increased.
