The 10 mm notched trowel is used as standard for large format tiles on floors and walls.

Attention: the "buttering-floating" method is strongly recommended here, in which a smaller toothing is also applied to the tile.

The choice of toothing always depends on the evenness of the substrate and the size of the tiles. The more uneven the substrate and the larger the tiles, the larger the serrations should be selected.
