Diamond wheels can go blunt, even when there seems to be plenty of wear left. This is because no more diamonds are on the surface of the blade. Plunge the blade into the sharpening stone and expose the diamonds to allow for quick cutting again.

Please note for dry cuts: only cut in to the depth of the segments
