Can I view my order online?
Under the function "My account" --> "View orders" function, your current and previous orders are listed.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within the scope of the right of withdrawal. The revocation should be made in writing (by e-mail to info@dahm-werkzeuge.de).
Can I save my shopping cart?
You can add items to your watch list. This will save them for your next visit to our store. To use this function, you need an online account and must be logged in.
Can I place an order by phone?
You can of course place your order with our sales advisors by telephone during the following opening hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:00-17:00
Friday 7:00-16:00

Can I collect ordered goods on site?
You can collect your ordered goods directly from us on site:

Can I adjust / add to my order afterwards?
We make every effort to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Therefore, we cannot guarantee subsequent changes. If you notice that an error has occurred with your order or that items are missing, please contact customer service immediately on +49 8667 878120.

 

Returns & Warranty:

How long do I have a guarantee on the ordered goods?
Your statutory warranty claim for new goods is 24 months from the date of purchase.
The warranty period for used goods is 12 months.
Can I also return ordered goods to Karl Dahm on site?
You can also make a complaint and return the goods directly on site.
Please remember your invoice receipt.
What do I need to prove that I still have a warranty claim?
Please always keep your invoice receipt in order to make use of the warranty claim.
How long do I have a right of return?
The statutory right of withdrawal is 14 days. During this period, you have the right to return the product or cancel the contract without giving any further details.
For further information on the right of withdrawal, please refer to "Service" --> "Right of withdrawal". Here you will also find a withdrawal form.
How can I return the goods?
Please pack the goods carefully and send them back to us carriage paid (payment must be made). Simply use the same box in which the goods were delivered to you or comparable packaging. For a clear allocation, please enclose a copy of the invoice with a brief reason for return in the package. Thank you very much!
How can I complain about ordered items within the warranty period?
You can contact us at any time if you have a warranty claim. Please use the contact form in our store, write us an e-mail or send us a fax. We will then contact you immediately.
You are also welcome to contact us by telephone.
Will I automatically receive a returns slip with my order?
We do not automatically enclose returns slips with our orders. If you wish to make a complaint about your goods, please contact our customer service team on: +49 8667 878120.
How can I return ordered items without defects?
You can return your ordered items to us within 14 days of receipt without giving any further reasons. More information under "Right of withdrawal".

Payment & Repayment:

What payment options do I have in the KARL DAHM online store?
You can choose between several payment options at Karl Dahm. For deliveries within Germany, you can pay for your order in advance, on account, with PayPal or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard). The same payment options are available for deliveries to the following countries (except for purchase on account): Italy incl. San Marino, Austria, Switzerland incl. Liechtenstein, Spain incl. Canary Islands, Balearic Islands. If your order is to be shipped to another country, the following payment options are available: Prepayment, PayPal or credit card (Visa, MasterCard).
What payment options are available on site?
If you pay on site, you can pay in cash or by EC or credit card (Visa, MasterCard). You benefit from a collection discount of 10% if you collect your order on site.
How long is my payment period for purchase on account?
You can pay the outstanding invoice amount conveniently within 8 days with a 2% discount or within 30 days without deduction.
How do I receive my invoice?
You will receive your invoice together with your parcel as standard (red envelope on the outside of the parcel). Alternatively, you can also receive your invoice digitally by e-mail or separately by post. Please let our customer service know.
In the case of delivery to an individual delivery address, the invoice will be sent by post to the billing address and a delivery bill will be attached to the parcel.
I have not received an invoice. Who can I contact?

When will I receive a refund?
As soon as we have received the returned goods, we will refund the invoice amount immediately.
How the repayment is made?
The credit will be issued using the same payment method you selected for payment (except for cash on delivery). The outstanding invoice amount will be credited to your account (for prepayment, invoice, credit card) or to your PayPal account.
How does payment via PayPal work?
PayPal is a separate company for payment processing. You will be automatically redirected to PayPal during the payment process. Please log in here with your access data and confirm the payment. Once you have approved the payment, you will be taken back to our store where you can complete the purchase. By paying with PayPal you automatically receive buyer protection. By registering an account with Karl Dahm, you enjoy a number of advantages.

How can I create a customer account?
The "My account" function on the homepage takes you to "Create account". Please complete the data form here and accept the data protection regulations. Please select a user name (e-mail address) and a password for your login. Your new account has been created.
Do I need an account to be able to order from Karl Dahm?
No, you can also place online orders without creating a customer account. However, your data will not be saved, so you will have to enter it again when you place another order.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your data from our system, please contact our customer service at +49 8667 878120 or info@dahm-werkzeuge.de.
What should I do if my address or e-mail address has changed?
You can manage your address at any time under "My account" --> "Change data/settings".
You can also edit your e-mail address under "My account" --> "Change e-mail address".
Please check each time you place an order that the correct addresses have been entered.
How can I change my personal data?
You can manage your personal data at any time under "My account" --> "Change data/settings".
What can I do if I have forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on "Forgot password" when you log in to your account. Enter your e-mail address in the field. We will then send you an e-mail with further instructions. You can then set a new password and use the benefits of your online account as usual.
Do I receive advertising when I create a customer account?
No, you will only receive information about products and offers if you have subscribed to the newsletter.
Subscribe to the newsletter here for free and benefit from exclusive offers and discounts! You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
How can I (un)subscribe to the newsletter?
You can subscribe to the newsletter with or without registering an account. To do this, visit our store and scroll down to the bottom of our homepage. Enter your e-mail address in the "Subscribe to newsletter" field and confirm your declaration of consent.
You will receive a registration confirmation to your e-mail address (please also check your spam folder). Your newsletter is subscribed!

Delivery time & conditions:

What is the delivery time?
The exact delivery times can be found directly with the respective item.
As a rule, the delivery time for items in stock in Germany is 1-3 working days. Deliveries to the EU are made within one week.
Deliveries to non-EU countries are subject to consultation and individual agreement.
For an additional charge, you can also select express delivery, which enables delivery within 24 hours (only applies to orders from Monday to Thursday until 14:30 and not for islands).

What are the shipping costs?
The shipping costs including insurance for deliveries within Germany are € 5.99 net
(€ 7.13 gross), regardless of weight and bulkiness.
These prices apply exclusively to online orders. The exact shipping costs for international orders will be displayed during the ordering process. For orders placed by telephone, you will be informed of the shipping costs.
Is delivery to another address or a packing station possible?
You can create new delivery addresses during the ordering process. The delivery addresses can be viewed under "My account" --> "Manage delivery addresses".
Can I arrange a preferred date?
It is generally possible to arrange a preferred date for your delivery. Please enter the desired delivery date in the comments field when placing your order. Our customer service will contact you as soon as your order has been processed.
How is the delivery made? Which shipping partner?
Orders with standard parcel dimensions are shipped with DHL or GLS. With GLS G24 you also have the option of express delivery within Germany, which arrives the next working day by 6 p.m. (you can find more information here!). If your order is sent by a forwarding agent, you will be contacted by our customer service team.
Delivers Karl Dahm to any address in Germany?
Karl Dahm delivers to any address in Germany.
Only island delivery is excluded from express delivery GLS G24. For express delivery by TNT, please contact our customer service separately on +49 8667 8780. We look forward to receiving your order.
Is delivery abroad possible?
Delivery of our articles abroad is possible at any time.
Under the function "Shipping costs calculator" --> "Shipping country" you can see to which countries we deliver. For orders to non-EU countries, please contact our customer service for an individual agreement. For orders to non-EU countries, please contact our customer service for an individual agreement.
How can I track the status of my delivery?
As soon as the goods have been dispatched and handed over to the parcel service provider, you will receive a link to track your shipment.

Is there a minimum order value in the online store?
There is no minimum order value for orders at karldahm.com.
We deliver our articles in any quantity.
Please note that our flat-rate shipping fee of €5.99 net applies to every order.
